WHAT WE DO

PTO stands for Parent Teacher Organization.

​

The Oak Meadow PTO is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization comprised of parents, teachers, and staff dedicated to enhancing the educational experience of all students at Oak Meadow Elementary and Buckeye Union Mandarin Immersion Charter Schools. Our goals are to encourage interaction between family and school, serve as a source of support, and work with teachers, staff, and the community at large to enhance our children’s educational experience. The PTO works closely with the school administration to meet this goal.

 

What does the PTO do, exactly?

We make our kids' school year extra special by hosting fun events, encouraging parent involvement and putting on fundraisers to enrich their school days at the Oak Meadow campus. All money raised stays at the Oak Meadow campus. The PTO organizes special events such as Harvest Festival, Family Movie Night, Glow Dane, Spring Fling, teacher appreciation week, and spirit wear.

We work with our principal and teachers to best determine how to spend the money and make our great school even better.
